Plural protocols

Example 1 A protocol for a heart failure in an emergency department, a protocol for treatment and follow-up of urinary infections in children in a health centre.

Note 1 A protocol is more precise than a care guideline.

Note 2 Protocols are often presented in a formal manner with respect to the expected behaviours and roles of care actors.
