Plural care actors

Note 1 The involvement of the care actor can either be direct (for example, the actual provision of care) or indirect (for example, at organizational level).

Note 2 According to this definition, people or organizations responsible for the funding, payment, or reimbursement of care provision are care actors, as are people and organizations responsible for care delivery. If a person or organization only funds care and does not deliver care, it is a care actor but not a care provider.
